Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists Kerala chapter was founded in 1978.
The first meeting was conducted in the Pathology Department, Medical College Trivandrum.
We are conducting two meeting each year regularly,
first meeting on second Saturday of February and
second meeting on second Saturday of August.
Each meeting consists of guest lectures, slide seminar on selected topics,
Business and general body meetings and free paper and poster sessions.

The 83rd IAPM Kerala Chapter meeting was held at Government Medical College, Kannur (formerly ACME, Pariyaram) on 28th september (Saturday)
82nd IAPM Kerala Chapter Meeting and 10th National CME in Pathology was held on 9,10 & 11 Febuary 2019 (Sat, Sun & Mon) at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi
The 81st IAPM Kerala Chapter meeting was held at Government Medical College,Ernakulam on 8th September 2018.
The 80th IAPM Kerala Chapter meeting was held in GMC Thiruvananthapuram on 10th February 2018.
CONSTITUTION
NAME:
Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists - Kerala Chapter.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Advancement of Knowledge of Disease.
2. To facilitate communication amongst Pathologists, Microbiologists and other Specialists in Kerala State.
ORGANISATION AND MANAGEMENT:
The Association consists of ordinary members, associate members and honorary members. It is administered by the Chairman duly elected from the ordinary members. The Chairman shall be assisted by one representative from each Medical College, one from Private Pathologists and the Treasurer. Treasurer shall be a person from the same place as the chairman. The term of all office bearers is 2 years.
MEMBERSHIP IAPM- Kerala Chapter Criteria. (As per minutes of 57th Chapter Meeting)
To be a member one
1.Should be a member of the National IAPM
2.Should be a specialist or specializing in Pathology
3.Should be a practicing Pathologist in Kerala.
MEETINGS:
A minimum of 2 meetings per year.
AMENDMENT OF RULES:
It is possible in annual general body meeting if supported by 2/3rd of ordinary member
